In some areas of spices we are self sufficient, and we get our herbs for free from the garden.
Spices, we don't (can't) grow ourselves, we have to buy in the store like everybody else.

We buy "big bags" of spices, and fill up the glasses when needed, and allways when we are doing "seasons cleaning."
This way we reuse glasses and lids, and the spices end up being much cheaper this way, so we save money.

It's not an art form to fill up the glasses, we use a little funnel, when we do the task.
It must be an art form however, to keep spices glasses clean. OMG all mine are allways greasy and sticky, even though I dry them off each time I use them.
It's a sort of grease that comes from cooking and spreads out in the kitchen. Disgusting.
So we always clean the glasses when using them, and cleanse them with soap water during each season cleaning.

I normally do this as a "break-task". I sit down with a cup of tea, a movie and start polishing, while relaxing.
In this way I break up the task, and come back to it later on, when I need to rest for a while again.

This was just a little part of the kitchen, but it can take me half a day.
Enjoy your break task :-)
