Potting, preparing and planning

Harvest and storage is still going on. Potting plants is going steady, but we need decent containers for the plants in the living room.
So off to the market, but without result, they were all too small.
So until we get more containers, the potting is on pause until we find some.

Evening hours goes with planning.
If you are lazy, you just plant stuff here and there, when you find it.
The kitchen garden is just planted in the order, you drag the bag of seeds out of the bag.
And guess what: the seeds will start to grow, success it seems, but then nothing... Why isn't there any corn, but just tiny dots(?) I have a lot of strawberry plants, but I get no berries...
If you do the effort of planting the seeds, why not do it right...
Planning has already started. In each of our heads, on each of our sketches. We have the "main plan", meaning place for poultry house, kitchen garden, flower garden, forest, open field etc.
Now we dig into the details.
What do we want for vegetables this year.
What did we run out off(?)
What was wasted cause we had too much?
Notes like that along with the
garden calendar from the past years,
gardening books and an
overview of new types of seeds,
and then the fun begins.
So go on an make your plans. Your dream garden starts on paper.
Happy planning :-)
