Juicer

I've been looking into juicers, cause I love to make my own juice by hand, but not as the first thing in the morning!

With all the lovely fresh vegetables  we have in the summer, almost all options are open.

So since the weather still choose to be uninviting, research is a very fine job for Winter time. Not only for shopping new kinds of seeds, but almost anything that concerns household functionality.

I have had a juicer on the buttom of my wish list for several years, I would like one, but there's stuff I really need before that.
Now I just got an offer for a juicer,a very good offer, so my long awaited research might as well get done.

The first I did, was to read about the particular model, that I had been offered.
I noticed, the particular juicer made a very wet pulp. I don't want that.

In our household it would normally not go to waste, the pulp. I would use it for animal food or for baking. But when it's so wet, that you can press out juice by squeezing your hand - the purpose is so lame, I don't want to use up more space in the kitchen for yet another "toy" that I don't use.

That made me interested however... Isn't there a juicer out there, which is able to make juice and not leave half of it in the pulp?
Of course there is. But then we're talking so much money, that the priority of a juicer eneded up yet once more at the absolute bottom on the list.

Instead I'll turn my focus on smoothies, where you use all the fruit, including the fibers. After all, that must be the number 1 use of fresh fruits and veggies.
